A field walk was held on July 1, 2008 to acquaint representatives of various federal and state regulatory agencies with the environmental resources and anticipated bikeway alignment within the Blackstone River Valley project corridor. Those in attendence included MassHighway (MassDOT), FHWA, DCR, US EPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, MA DEP and members of the Parsons Project Team.
